Yes, you can. To turn on speed limit alerts:

• Open the WeGo app and drag up the bottom bar 
• Select 'Settings'
• Click on 'Speed limit alerts' 
• Turn on 'Show speed limit' option
• Turn on 'Alert when over limit' 
• Choose when exactly you'd like the alert to sound according to your speed
